INTRODUCING Something Else Sundays

All the churches in our cluster are committing to one lay-led service a month. Our Something Else Sunday will be the second Sunday of the month, when Sarah will be at St Barnabas all morning, including staying on for lunchtime baptisms. We are sharing the name ‘Something Else Sunday’ across our three churches, borrowing it from St Nicholas who came up with it a little while ago for their non-communion services. Do talk to Chris W if you are interested in helping make our Something Else Sundays happen at St Wulstans!

Chris W and Cary are looking after this first Something Else Sunday on Sunday 11th September, continuing our Lost and Found theme. The outline for the service can be downloaded here:

Cary will be exploring the little brother’s perspective on the parable of the Lost Son in Luke 15. You might like to see the way this video from Saltmine Theatre in association with Good News for Everyone tackles this well-known tale (thanks Eve for sharing the resource with us, this time last year).
