Step 4 — fill out this banns application (if you are marrying in a different church) or the wedding application (if you are marrying at St Wulstans) below
Step 5 — the fees for banns and for marriage services in 2022 were as follows:
- banns only is £48 (£32 for calling the banns and £16 for the certificate)
- marriage service is a complete fee of £555, which includes the statutory fee of £480 and the local fee of £75 to cover our buildings and site costs. We expect to receive a 20% deposit in order to confirm the date with us.
The fees in 2023 are just about to be confirmed but they have increased by around 10% in line with inflation. These fees are set nationally.
Payments should be made online using our banking details, quoting Wedding(date/time) or Banns (date) as the reference
