Crossroads

Crossroads
At this hour, I call out to you El Roi
the God who sees me — Genesis 16:13

Stand still, pausing in your journey. You are at the crossroads in your path in these moments.

This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls”                   Jeremiah 6:16

Write a list of five different ways in which you are facing a crossroads, things in which you are looking for guidance. Make an ‘expeditionary plan’ for safely and boldly exploring something new, or for stepping back into something you thought you had travelled on from.

Jesus said
“I am the Road
also the Truth
also the Life”

John 14:6 in the Message

Through many dangers, toils and snares, we have already come.
T’was Grace that brought us safe thus far and Grace will lead us home.
Ponder John Newton’s words.

In the tender compassion of our God,
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace

[from the Benedictus in Luke 1]

O! My soul stands at the crossroads this day, asking for the ancient paths, discovering the way by walking it

O! My soul stands at the crossroads this day, asking for the ancient paths, discovering the way

O! My soul stands at the crossroads this day, asking for the ancient paths

O! My soul stands at the crossroads this day, asking

O! My soul stands at the crossroads this day

O! My soul stands at the crossroads

O! My soul stands

O! My soul
