Here are the key dates for the coming few weeks
THIS WEEKEND IT’S A Something Else Sunday!
All the churches in our cluster are committing increasing the frequency of lay-led services. We are sharing the name ‘Something Else Sunday’ across our three churches, borrowing it from St Nicholas who came up with it a little while ago for their non-communion services. The outline for these services can be downloaded here, but I’m sure that Mike, Eve and Keith who are leading this weekend, will bring their own flavour to it.
Alison will be sharing a reflection on “H is for Holiness” and the two readings are very familiar:
The Gospel reading is from the Benedictus, the Song of Zechariah that many of us will recognise from Matins services in years gone. You might like to hear this version of it, set to a familiar seasonal tune — that we may well revisit as a congregation in Advent!
