Can I Come to Church Right Now?

During lockdown that started in January 2021, we are not open for public worship in the normal way. This is a decision that many many churches have taken. The guidance does allow for services but we think that your safety is more important than gathering in-person for the time being. This means that church is NOT open on Sundays at all, until further notice. We are still able to offer funerals, although the guidance limits this to thirty people, but we can only offer weddings and baptisms under extreme circumstances.

Each Wednesday during this lockdown, we will be recording a Communion service for YouTube and for Church-on-the-Phone 01905 935021. For COVID-security reasons, these events are BY INVITATION ONLY. If you are able to attend safely, then please contact Sarah directly.

This website and the phoneline are updated regularly with new resources. Today, you might like to try this ten-minute relaxation video which imagines prayer as a stream flowing down a mountain.

  1. How lovely to re-visit the ‘Streams of prayer ‘ clip. Have found it very useful. We first saw it the 2nd week of the first national lockdown, but still so very relevant .
