Wednesdays in September

These are our Wednesday plans for this month.

Wednesday 2 September at 11:30 am – a chance to gather in church to see the Thanks-Track-Charist service we put out over the weekend, taking the Communion service at 26 locations around the parish. Due to a generous grant, we have just purchased a 65″ large screen TV and are itching to try it out with everyone!

Wednesday 2 September at 12 noon – a final Silent Half Hour to round off our Forty Days of Summer journey together.

Wednesday 9 September at 12:45 pm – we are opening church for a funeral from the community.

Wednesday 16 September at 10:30 am – this week sees the first of two trial in-person Midweek Communion services.

Wednesday 23 September at 10:30 am – this week sees the second of two trial in-person Midweek Communion services.

Wednesday 30 September – we are committed to a Diocesan clergy event this week and so church will not be open today.

What can you expect about the building?

You are encouraged to think about how these adaptations might challenge your own specific needs.

  • One way system using the FRONT door only as an entrance
  • Hand sanitising stations
  • Socially distanced seating
  • The BACK door is only available as an emergency exit
  • The toilets and kitchen are NOT available
  • Face coverings should be worn

PLEASE do not come if you feel unwell.

PLEASE think about your safety and the safety of others.

PLEASE do not come only if you you feel you should come.

PLEASE do not come to ‘do a job’ in church. We need to minimise the amount of touch on surfaces and objects.
